Ed Elliott started blogging and writing tools for SQL Server, specifically around DevOps at https://the.agilesql.club in 2014. Since he started, he has helped people get started with DevOps for databases with a particular focus on Microsoft SQL Server, unit testing with tSQLt and deployments with SQL Server Data Tools and the underlying API the DacFx.
Ed has also written about Azure and his tool to help people choose the optimum disk configuration for IaaS virtual machines regularly sees thousands of visitors a month. Other tools Ed has written have been installed tens of thousand to times including:

Since starting “The Agile SQL Club”, Ed has begun writing training courses such as the “Unit testing SQL Server code using tSQLt” course which has been completed by over 500 students (https://courses.agilesql.club/p/unit-testing-sql-server-code-using-tsqlt).
Ed has always freely given advice where he can and has been an active speaker on the UK meetup scene, while he continues to give talks and guidance where he can, he is also has a corporate offering in “The Agile SQL Company” which can provide:
